Mid Summer Newsletter
Happy Summer Band Family!!! Just a quick update about some dates and details you will want to keep in mind as we approach the start of the school year!
Initial Fair Share payments were due May 30th. Huge thanks to all who have paid!! These funds go far in helping to sustain the needs of the band programs through the summer months.
For those who have not paid, you can log in to Charms to pay or you can send a check/money order to the school, Attn: Mr. Duckett.
If you need to speak with Mr. Duckett regarding fair share, please contact him by email at email@example.com or on his cell (904)343-1999.

Forour new marching members, please be sure to purchase the New Marching Member bundle by August 10!!!
FRESHMAN ORIENTATION & NEW MEMBERS – Wednesday, July 31st
Reminder for incoming Freshmen - Next Wednesday is Freshman Orientation and we will be in the band room. We can accept Fair Share payments, answer questions and have Swag available for purchase!!
Also - Reminder to all NEW members. We need both student and parent information updated in Charms. Charms is one of our main forms of communication and we do not want anyone to miss out on important information.
FUNDRAISING – Yankee Candle Sales!!
Yankee Candle Sales will begin on August 10th and run through August 23rd. All proceeds for student candle sales go directly to the student and may be applied toward Fair Share, the Band Banquet, or trips.
PRE-BAND CAMP DAY – Saturday, August 10th
Student Leadership (Mentors, Managers, etc.) please bring one (1) case of water.
Pre-Band Camp Day - Music, Uniform Fittings, Sectional time - 9AM-4PM on Saturday, August 10th.
Food will be provided but it should also be noted that Doodlebops Ice cream Emporium will be at the Pre Band Practice on August 10th if the students would like to purchase ice cream treats after practice. Prices range from $2-$3 for ice cream, chips and soda.
BAND CAMP DATES
Thursday, August 15th 4PM-9PM
Friday, August 16th 4PM-9PM
Saturday August 17th 9AM-4PM --- Food provided all days!!!
Mandatory Parent Meeting - Thursday, August 15th 7:30PM in the Auditorium!!
FALL VOLUNTEER SIGN UPS – Please sign up today!
Volunteers are needed for Pre-Band Camp, Band Camp and we want to push the importance of signing up for concessions run through!! We need all new parents to come out and experience the fun of feeding our awesome kiddos!!
